The Pretty Gallery Wall 2
Last night, I stumbled upon a Lonny Daily Design Roundup that featured my post on "The Pretty Gallery Wall." The premise of my post was that many people think of gallery walls as either too modern or too Bohemian a look to go with the Chinoiserie Chic/Palm Beach Chic/Hollywood Regency style we embrace here filled with color, Chinoiserie, and classics. I set off to find gallery walls that embraced our style. Here are more great examples of what I call "pretty gallery walls" and find even more on my Pinterest board here.

Chinoiserie Chic Mention in Lonny
Lonny Magazine sat down with West Palm Beach CIRCA WHO owner Tracy DeRamus to chat about Palm Beach Chic, design influences, biggest sellers, and current trends and she mentioned Chinoiserie Chic. Here are excerpts from the interview and photos of her fabulous store.
Q: Favorite design blog, website, or TV show?
A: I would be lost without the bloggers and the magazines that have mentioned CIRCA WHO. They are all a huge part of why the shop is where it is today. It all started back in 2006 when Celerie Kemble mentioned CIRCA WHO in her Shopping Dixie list for domino. Thank you, domino, Coastal Living, Southern Living, LUXE, ELLE DECOR, Lonny, and blogs Stylebeat, Georgia James, The Glam Pad, and Chinoiserie Chic, just to name a few.
Q: What are your current best sellers?
A: Pieces with fretwork, faux bamboo, chinoiserie, or pagoda details. This year I've also added more color. I've always fallen in love with the piece, not the original color or the fabric, but after seeing how my clients revamp their CIRCA WHO items, it's inspired me to be more adventurous.
Q: Biggest design influence?
A: CIRCA WHO is very influenced by the designs of the '70s and by designers such as Dorothy Draper, William Haines, and Frances Elkins, but interpreted in 1970s Palm Beach. I just love design. It doesn't matter when it was made (the CIRCA) or who made it (the WHO). I buy it because I love it!

Juju Anew
I'm sure you have all noticed how hot Juju hats (African headdresses from Cameroon) have been over the past several years in interior design. I fell in love with them after seeing these two rooms by Alessandra Branca below and how beautifully they work with Chinoiserie and traditional decor. I still hadn't pulled the plug, thinking that perhaps they are too trendy for me. My hesitation stopped when I saw this mini Juju on a stand on the entry table in Michelle Adams' apartment featured in the new issue of Lonny. So I am now on the hunt for this in these colors of black and pink to go on my black and gold Chinoiserie chest in the living room. I would love any sourcing help on one of these tiny versions.
